The staff were terrific ... very friendly . we stayed in a one bedroom villa which was very romantic
It is very close to the Mosque and the early morning prayer woke us up every morning at about 4 - 5 am
The hotel is right in the heart of the Gili bar & restaurant strip. The staff was amazing. The food & drinks their were very well priced and delicious.
The hotel is right next to a Muslim temple. It is extremely loud 5 times a day, starting at 5:45am :/ very loud. Also the room was mainly out doors and although the bedroom was closed off it was not air tight so the air conditioning was not very effective. It was very hot, not much escape from the heat.
great staff, awesome location, very cool rooms. The usual indonesian stuff sometimes went wrong. Power outages etc but staff always there to help
Friendly staff and great beach bar
the rooms were disgusting, apart from the bedroom. Bathroom/lounge all mosquito infested and jaquzzi was foul. It was also next door to the mosque which blares out hymns at 5am every morning to wake you up. For about 15 mins
large rooms outisde patio in rooms external jacuzzi large and conforable bed location on Gili T friendliness of staff
pricey loud music noise - but as during ramadan it was tamed down
i think it was totally overpriced U$D 150 in a time where the hotels were half empty ......i am going to the Gilis every year 6-8 times and this was by far the worst choice i made value for money ..... the staff was not very caring at reception they didn't even know about my booking . they have doors which are probably 3 meters high and very heavy wooden doors but to open and close them you need to be a body builder or suer strong because the rolling mechanism was stuffed and derailed all the time ....pain in the backsite .Management was very incompetent ...nothing but excuses the usual ..... never this hotel again nothing good to say ....sorry ..:-(
No fresh water all the time. Once I got fresh water from the shower pipe, it became very little water in a few seconds, means I have to worry about if I could clean the shampoo and soft on my body. No Internet at the first 2 day, as they said it was broken from the telecom company. But, at least, most of them were friendly.
In-efficient service. Poor breakfast options. Room was not comfortable or clean, & several things were broken, including basics such as the toilet seat & bathroom door. Found somewhere else cheaper & much nicer to stay rather than extending our stay at horizontal. Would not stay there again & would not recommend to others.
Great location. The Villa's have a lot of potential . Right on the main street with direct access to the beach and many resturaunt choices near by.
The mosque next door has services over a loud speaker 5 times a day. Beginning at about 4am. The cleanliness of the villa was way below average. The pool had chlorine and mould build up along the walls so bad that during our 5 days we did not use it. The showers needed a really good scrub, there was still hair in the drain from the previous guests when we arrived. And we had a few days where we struggled to get water in the bathroom.
the jacuzzi, sunken sofas, getting as far away from Gili T as I could.
staff are chaiz-lounging more than the guests. waiting an hour for a bowl of fries and then seeing it land on a table next to me, and befori could say those were my fries, the fuckers tucked in. over-flowing sewerage pipe made the walk past the kitchen a hold-your-breath and run as far as you can before you pass out from asphixiation race. and to top it all off I left there with explosive diarrhea.
